Conclusions on Title Sequences...
The title used in title sequences are usually the most important. In most films the order of title credits goes:
- The name of the studio
- The name of the producer and the production company
- The directors name
- The main actors and actresses
- The title of the film
An then you have things such as:-
- Casting
- Writers
- Editing
- Music
- Costume
- Visual effects etc.
Depending on the importance of something is the size it is shown on the screen in some films. For example the names of the studio and production company could take up majority of the screen whereas the names of the composers would take up a quarter. If the credits are going on whilst there is an action packed Title sequence playing then the audience may not want it blocking the action.
I think that Title Sequences are very important when it comes to films; without it there would be no way to introduce the movie in a creative way that prepares the audience for the real thing. They take alot of skill and time and you can tell they are appreciated by the public.
