Analysing 2 Film Sequences

Fast and Furious 6:

I enjoyed the title sequence for this film and it was quite eye-catching. Their use of special effects and CGI presents the film and the characters in a unique way which also helps give the audience an idea of what type of film they're in for.

The explosions from the cars and revealing guns creates a sense of action and drama. Their bright use of the color red could also represent danger and fear of what could be the main story in this film. I like their use of incorporating the actors, publishers and directors into the effects and even giving the main characters cameos in the title sequence.

Scott Pilgrim:

The title for Scott Pilgrim was also very interesting and eye catching due to the visuals. It starts off with a band performing in a living room but with special visual effects of lightning around them striking in sync with the beat of their song they're performing.

The use of their genre of music and the illustration tells you the film is probably going to be some sort of drama surrounding the band and their music. The colors and animations are bright and strong but random which gives you the idea that anything could happen in this film.
